Rio Grande

Known at the Rio Bravo del Norte and is part of the US - Mexican border

located in the Chaparral Biome with mild rainy winters and hot dry summers

sees diverse plant life like cacti, shrubs and shrub oak.

the high winds and low growing plants contribute to grasslands but the soil is too thin and rocky for crops.
